What we offer
This is a system of diagnosis and treatment for conditions affecting the moving parts of the body (muscles, ligaments, tendons, joints, discs, bursae). The aim is to be as accurate as possible about the cause of a patient’s pain, so that treatment can be provided in a very specific way. Sadly these methods are not always practiced in orthodox medicine.
Millions of people throughout the world perform physical exercise and play sport. These people have specific medical needs. To cater for these people a branch of medicine known as “sports medicine” has evolved.
Osteopathy is the modern, scientific development of two of the oldest forms of treatment known to man - massage and manipulation. It is a system of diagnosis and treatment that focuses on structural and mechanical problems of the body.
Exercise therapy involves the use of a regimen of physical activities specifically designed and prescribed to correct an impairment, improve musculoskeletal function, or maintain a state of well-being.

We are able to perform a number of simple laboratory tests at the Mansfield Clinic. We also have access to facilities for other diagnostic tests including X-rays and MRI scans.

The Mansfield Clinic has been established over 30 years. Pain Solutions, run by Dr Mark Allfree, is committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care. All staff at the Mansfield Clinic are extremely highly qualified and experienced. Dr Mark Allfree is the only medically qualified osteopath in Nottinghamshire.
